One line, six service points
The business address is 14525 Hwy 7 in west Minnetonka, and calls are dispatched from there to the city and the towns around it. The dispatcher confirms coverage for your address on the call.
Each town has its own housing age, water utility and permit office, so a good plumber asks where you are before anything else. The town pages go into the detail. Permit offices and utilities differ by town, and the rules they apply follow each city's own standards, so confirm locally before any work starts.

Minnetonka itself
Minnetonka has about 23,825 homes: roughly 56% single-family, 29% in buildings of 20 or more units and 10% townhomes. Over half were built before 1980, so older drain lines and original water heaters are common calls.
The city has its own water system with 18 wells. Neighborhoods such as Ridgedale, Glen Lake and Minnetonka Mills sit on opposite sides of I-494 and Hwy 7, and the dispatcher uses that geography to plan the route.
Other places around the lake
People in Woodland, Minnetonka Beach, Spring Park, Greenwood, Shorewood, Deephaven, Orono and Tonka Bay live close to the lake and often call the same line. Callers in St. Louis Park, Golden Valley and Edina, near Hopkins, also reach the dispatcher.
These places do not have their own pages here. Call the 24/7 line and give your address, and the dispatcher will confirm whether a licensed plumber can come.
Why the city matters for plumbing
Permit rules and utility contacts differ by city. In Wayzata and Excelsior, inspections run through Metro West Inspections. In Minnetonka, Hopkins, Eden Prairie and Plymouth, the city's own building office handles it. For any project, ask the building department in your city whether a permit applies.
Who handles permits and inspections near you
A plumbing job can involve a permit, and the office that issues it depends on the town. Minnetonka residents ask the City of Minnetonka building department, and the city's own form says work is not to start without a permit. Hopkins issues plumbing permits through its Inspections Division, and Eden Prairie and Plymouth each run a building inspection office of their own.
Wayzata and Excelsior contract their building, mechanical and plumbing inspections to Metro West Inspections. In Excelsior, the city page says a plumbing permit is required when you add a fixture such as a sink, tub or toilet. Wayzata's page lists several like-for-like fixture swaps that do not need one, as long as the piping itself is not altered.
Rules change, so treat this as a starting point and confirm with the right office before any work begins. When you call, tell the dispatcher your town and what is being replaced. That lets the plumber handle the paperwork question properly instead of guessing, and it keeps your job on the correct side of your city's rules.
No arrival-time promises
Drive time from Minnetonka to the other towns depends on traffic and weather, not on a fixed schedule. For that reason the line does not promise an arrival time. What it does offer is a person on the phone at any hour, a licensed plumber and a clear price before work starts. Same-day appointments are offered when available for planned work in any of the towns above.
